URGENT CALL TO ALL HAIR STYLISTS

Collections of hair are being recycled into oil-absorbing hair mats that
help clean up harbors and protect marine life from oil spills. No one knows
better than hair stylists how hair gets oily. Phil McCrory, a hair stylist
for over 30-years, is the inventor who patented Life Save-Hair Mats. The
idea came to him upon seeing the oil-coated fur of struggling otters on TV
during the Exxon Valdez clean-up efforts in Prince William Sound, Alaska.

McCrory has partnered with ExcessAccess in a nationwide outreach to Salons
and their clients for participation in this program. ExcessAccess is the
on-line donating system that matches business and household item donations
with nonprofits and recyclers that pick up.

All that salons have to do, is sweep up hair clippings as usual. But
instead of throwing hair away into the garbage for landfill, stylists put
clippings into ExcessAccess boxes which are provided to all participants and
picked up by pre-paid couriers on a regular basis.
